Unaddressed mental health issues in the workplace have been weighing on everyone long before the COVID-19 pandemic but for sure been illuminated during it. Many issues in the workplace such as stigma go beyond the workplace and touches on societal culture and even governments. For example, only 2% of government health budgets are allocated to mental health spending globally (UNICEF). If governments are not investing further for better mental health for their populations, should businesses do better for their employees?
