United States is first country to hit 40 million coronavirus cases

A constant message: the pandemic is not over until it is over everywhere.

United States is first country to hit 40 million coronavirus cases. The next country near that mark is India with 33 million coronavirus cases, then followed by Brazil with 20 million coronavirus cases.

The surge of new cases in countries will continue to create doubt & ethical concern if communities will be safe in long-term for community protection for all. From failures of learning lessons to follow safety protocols to creating adaptive processes for prevention, the slow rollout of mitigated measures (ie in-country vaccines uptake) still is a barrier for most countries, especially those waiting for vaccine delivery.

According to Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the daily COVID-19 case average in US is more than 3 times higher than it was last year on Labor Day.

Will another country have more COVID-19 cases than US before the end of 2021?
