A constant question to me – where are the Johnson & Johnson vaccines?
Unclear on how much availability exist for the entire world distribution but White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients said last Friday, March 26 that
Johnson & Johnson was set to deliver on its goal of 20 million vaccine doses by the end of this month.
Important to note that there are still plenty of researchers testing about 80 vaccines in clinical trials on humans, and 23 of them have reached the final stages of testing. Additionally, at least 77 preclinical vaccines are still under active investigation in animals. As much as 2020 was a race to produce safe and effective coronavirus vaccines in record time – now is the time for the precision to protect against mutated variants and further understanding on what’s needed in the vaccine.
